We are seeking Senior Network Support Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be mostly troubleshooting the network issues. If necessary, you must visit end users' premises outside regular hours.  All the findings and solutions are then to be reported to upper management or to your immediate manager.

The junior customer support team gathers issues. Your role is to identify the cause of each issue, list them, follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), apply solutions, and record your actions.

1. Configure and manage different core and distribution switches, OLTs at different locations.

2. Monitor bandwidth and throughput inbound and outbound of the network at different nodes.

3. Participate in and often lead network-related incident response, performing root-cause analysis and contributing to corrective and preventive actions.

4. Serve as a senior technical resource, reviewing designs, mentoring juniors, and      communicating technical risks and tradeoffs to cross-functional partners.

5. Support capacity planning, performance analysis, and validation of throughput, latency, and failover behavior.

6. Implement and maintain network monitoring, logging, alerting, and dashboards using tools such as PRTG, WinMTR, netstat, powershell, Wireshark, etc.

7. Participate in design, build, and maintain optical fiber and wireless network.

8. Provide training to junior technicians.

1. 2+ years of experience in internet service support.

2. 2+ hands-on experience with optical fiber cable and wireless technologies.

3. Hands-on experience with computer hardware troubleshooting, Microsoft office products – OneDrive, Office 365, Outlook, Windows 10 & 11.

4. Hands-on experience of L2 with Cisco, Juniper, BDCOM, and Mikrotik (L2 & L3).

5. Strong knowledge of VLAN, Subnetting, NAT, IPV4, IPV6, DHCP.

6. Hands-on experience with UBNT and other wireless products.

7. 2+ years of experience with Huawei, TP-Link, Netis, etc terminal ONT/ONU/Router.

8. 2+ years of experience with BDCOM, Powertech, Huawei OLT.

9. Strong knowledge of ethernet and SFP technologies.

10. Experience with WiFi technologies, such as – 2.4G, 5G, MIMO, WiFi6, etc.

11. Familiar with GPON and EPON technologies.

12. Hands-on experience with PRTG, VMWare, Linux, Cloud services.

13. CompTIA A+ (desirable), and CCNA (desirable). Immediate hiring for A+ and CCNA certified.

14. +2 level passed, bachelors in IT or related field (desirable).

15. 2-wheeler license with vehicle, 4-wheeler license (desirable).

16. Strong attention to detail with excellent time management and organizational skills.

17. Excellent experience in maintaining documentation.

18. Excellent communication skills.

1. Gross Salary starts from NRs. 30,000/- and goes up for deserving candidate depending on the level of experience, skills and knowledge. 

2. This is an on-site job; however remote work is possible on certain conditions.
